A private Medicare-approved plan provides your Part A and Part B benefits. Most plans include Part D. Networks, referral rules, extra benefits, and costs vary.
Original Medicare with added coverage
Original Medicare can be paired with separate Part D coverage and a Medigap policy. Medigap helps pay certain costs Original Medicare leaves to you. It does not work as supplemental coverage for Medicare Advantage.
